2007 Litter

We are currently accepting deposits for puppies.

Happy mom with all 6 pups just a day after whelping.

Introduction of solid food to 4-week old pups.

Around 3 or 4-weeks of age, the pups had their first taste of solid food.

May 2009 Litter

May 1st after whelping; all 7 nursing.

All 7 puppies at 24-hours old, eagerly nursing a very attentive dam.

Very young puppy on scale to track weight gain.

Just a few days after whelping, we track puppy weight-gain on a simple food-scale.

While we clean the whelping box, the puppies blend-in as they indulge in their 2nd favorite activity, sleeping.

At two-weeks old, the food scale is already getting a little small for the rapidly growing pups!

By four-weeks of age, the puppies get to spend a few hours each day outside.

At 6-weeks old, the pups are very inquisitive and active; they don't hold still long enough for a photo like this until they're sleepy.

At 8-weeks old the puppies get supervised playtime all over our farm and never seem to stop jumping, running, and generally having fun!

At 5-months of age, Bruno vom Guesthaus was already in narcotics training for the Owego and New Berlin police departments.

5-month-old Dyna vom Guesthaus (Nika) was a wonderful and loving family companion undergoing regular obedience at a local puppy school in Danby.

November 2009 Litter (Usa x Bandit)

Celebrating the season just before the pups turned 2 weeks old.

A 3-week old female fell fast asleep with her toys.

Puppies get their first taste of solid food around 3 weeks old.

As soon as the pups have their milk-teeth, we introduce the pups to solid food (around 3-weeks).

As early as 4 weeks, we begin socialization to other friendly animals and various new people.

Despite being whelped and raised in our home, the pups have no problem going for a romp in the snow before 5-weeks of age!

After a long day of sleeping, eating, playing with brothers, sisters, and mom, then eating some more and playing in the snow, this sable male is tuckered out! (around 4 weeks old)

Echo vom Guesthaus at 15 weeks of age.

At just 15 weeks old, Echo vom Guesthaus already assisted his person in teaching obedience classes in Waverly!

Enzo vom Guesthaus at 13 weeks of age.

At 13 weeks of age, our only sable in this litter, Enzo vom Guesthaus, was already showing excellent prey-drive and completing 100-meter tracks in Northern Alabama!

Emma vom Guesthaus almost 6 months old.

Five-and-a-half-month old Emma vom Guesthaus already excelled at a beginner obedience course and is about to begin intermediate obedience with her person in Endicott!

Eva vom Guesthaus just under 6 months old.

Also at five-and-a-half-months, Eva vom Guesthaus is living near Watkins Glen and is involved in Schutzhund obedience and bitework training, displaying a consistent full-mouth grip and solid drives, all around.

(HGH = Herdengebrauchshund = Herding Utility Dog)

The German-style herding title involves tending and herding roughly 200 sheep and is quite different from most AKC-style herding trials. For more information, Ulf Kintzel has some informative articles on his website for White Clover Sheep Farm.
