Guesthaus German Shepherds is family-owned and operated and our dogs are the ideal family dogs for active homes, with working capabilities in herding, tracking, protection, and a variety of dog sports.

We began training and breeding these amazing dogs over a decade ago and are now proud to say our dogs have competed worldwide in numerous American and German-affiliated trials and shows.

We maintain facilities in New York, Tennessee, and Alabama, coupled with working relations amongst top breeders and trainers around the world.

Many breeders simply breed dogs, and don’t do the training. Many trainers only train dogs, and don’t do the breedings themselves.

Here at Guesthaus German Shepherds, we breed, train, and title dogs, period. Our small, family setting allows us to spend ample time with each and every dog or puppy, and every litter is whelped in our home.

At Guesthaus German Shepherds, we believe in having only a few litters each year so that we can bring our customers the absolute highest quality with incredible attention to the details of each puppy's life.
